Justicevr6 0
Can anyone tell me if there is a correct way to do this,My problem is,if I take the clip off the cable at the engine side of the cable and slowly push down on the peddle to take out any slack then put the clip back on the kick down will not work unless the peddle is pushed as far as it can go, and if I pull the cable out too far I get a clicking feeling through the peddle with still 1/4 of throttle left but the kickdown works as it clicks and is very responsive,Anyone know the correct way to setup properly btw it an auto. antera309 3
The kickdown is activated by a switch attached to the throttle cable itself. The switch is located at the point where the cable meets the bulkhead (in the engine bay).
