matth76 1
HiI'm currently having a 6 branch exhaust manifold fitted by Storm Developments to my Golf VR6. It's one of the best on the markets (it's not a cheap make but is very good quality) they tell me and has very good flexi joints which are apparently stronger than the standard manifold's joints. It's all highest grade polished stainless steel. It uses the original heat shield. I was concerned that heat wrap would be needed around the runners on the manifold but I was told by Storm that it was not really necessary - they told me the heat shield would be fine (although I've read in most places that heat wrap is required as well - is this really necessary and would it improve performance if I had it?). My standard engine mounts are in good condition which they said didn't need to be uprated as the flexi joints keep the manifold totally independent to engine movement which sounds good, as I wasn't keen on shelling out
binliner 0
bit late to be asking if they're already fitting it As you're using them why don't you report back on how good they are?
matth76 1
Very true %-6 it is a bit late. Although I have heard good reviews about them on here hence I went with them. Can't wait to get my car back from them - this Saturday to see what difference the 6 branch makes powerwise. Not sure how much louder it will be. Storm did say their 6 branch exhaust manis were very popular - just wondered if anyone had one on here that could tell us about it (as I will when I get my car back )

matth76 1
Not sure. I would like to - be ideal to see the power gains if any with the new 6 branch. Although really depends if my car is ready tomorrow or whether it will be Monday. Is the rr day up at Stealth? When is the next one?
