silverline 0 Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 i ve just removed the HT leads from cyclinders 4 and 6 and discovered a pool of oil sitting at the bottom of each spark plug! numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5 are all dry.i checked the rocker cover seal and thats dry as well as the cylinder head itself. plugs seem tight but will get a socket on them to make sure.any1 else had this problem? know where it could be coming from.any help greatly appreciated. francisjonno 2 Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 If the rocker gasket is ok it could just be spilt oil from filling up if its only 4 and 6.Is it oily around the oil cap? (outside of cap obviously ) My cap leaked a bit but replacing the cap and seal fixed the problem. Link to post Share on other sites
