28v6r 0
Me thinks you've answered your own question here.. have a look at the both sets of mountings.. I know on mine when I first got it, that the back mounting was US due to the heat off the exhaust... try that an see.. let us know how you get on..
matth76 1
You've probably checked this but what about your exhaust knocking? I have a Milltek exhaust which fits really well (not much bigger than standard) and doesn't knock when there's two people in the car but put four people in and it knocks a fair bit driving in a straight line over nearly every bump due to the suspension being stiffer with the extra weight of passengers. I'm not overly worried by it as it doesn't do any damage to the exhaust or the car and it only happens if I fill the car with people (which I don't do often). HoweveriIf you have stiffened up your suspension you may find the exhaust occasionally bangs on the underside of the car - may not be the backbox that bangs but any part of the system on the underside. Worth a check. If you do find it's your exhaust knocking I wouldn't worry too much about it. However if it's the engine mounts then that will probably need sorting. Good luck mate.
