New member needing help

Hi everyone im new to the forum thing so just getting my head around it with my old age 😆

Im currently in the process of building a 2.8 24v 04 beetle convertible to take my kids to shows and potentially turbo at some point. 

Now this is not my first rodeo in the vw scene but i was into mk2 and mk3 stuff.

The mk4/bug platform is new to me.

First question is Currently the 2.0 8v is ripped out and used a me7.5 ecu and the 24v run me7.1? Is the mk4 platform plug and play am i going to run into problems? Ecu will have immobiliser delete but its the wiring i need info on so i know what to buy.

 

2, i want to run a v5 gearbox.  Can i retain the 2.0 shafts or will i need v5 shafts or outer shafts

 

3, is there any uk breakers or engines or boxes forsale on here that are reasonable?  I need a complete AUE  or BDE engine with ecu and both looms and a v5 box or a 4 motion box thats been blanked.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
