Any idea's what this means

I have a program that I was given but in order to make it work I have to do a number of things but I get stuck on this part as I do not understand what it is saying,make this then copy it's contents bla bla bla if I just made it it would'nt have any contents ?, here is part of the information and any help would be good.

11. Create a directory under C:ET_ROOT called UPD

12. Copy the contents of UPD to C:ET_ROOTUPD

You are installing the price updates for ETKA then ;-)

It means copy the contents of the UPD directory on the CD to the one you created.

Ah there lie's the problem I cannot find a UPD other than the one I created,if that is all it is I am not bothered about prices but I keep getting Hardlock not present when trying to open the program and thought it was becouse of this file !sad

well i've heard someone say that they don't have any contents in a directory called UPD and it works fine, wouldn't know what they are on about though. They are roumered to have created a folder called UPD but put nothing in it because they were in the same situation as you. Sorry i can't help more

you might not be able to view the files?? enable viewing of all file types, windows natively hides important files. otherwise use the search facilty and search the cd for upd

Bit late on this one but they should be on the actual cd you were given, not already on your pc, chuck the cd in a nd do a search on there.....I'll have a look on mine tonight if I remember, see if can find em, if it aint too much info could email em to you.
