scruffy 0
Several weeks ago after leaving car in lock-up for 4 days (Arthritis problems) the dreaded ABS came on, I have not used car untill today, when it was taken to mechanic to have complete rebuild of rear brakes (same as front) on collecting car he told me he lost thesmall rubber cap from top of brake fluid reseviour which holds plastic rod from rising? however he used another plastic cap which seems ok, fluid level is OK, as is hand brake warning light switch, nothing has been touched except new discs, bearings, and pads, abs rings changed over (they are only 18months old) I read in Bently manual of Electronic Brake Pressure Distibution Failure, what is this and is this somthing mechanic has caused, he didn't fix ABS and never intended to, so now I have both ABS and red warning light on, any help advise please, JBD !sad !sad !sad !sad !sad
Justicevr6 0
Not long ago I did the whole car brakes disc's bearings pads etc and when doing the o/s/r bearing I damaged the sensor and my abs and h/b light stays on, I have not yet put it on |Vag com but have put my code reader into the socket and it comes up with 011F,so you might have a damaged sensor.
