jezmoz 0
the price is ok , cause steelers charge a fortune, but i just wondered if the plugs and oil etc were up to scratch, Can some one tell me what they actually do in a service and could i do it myself??? surely oil change and spark plugs is easy enough but what else does it entail?? uber-tub 0
You could do everything the mechanic would do except stamp your service book... unless you're handy with a half potato, a kitchen knife and an ink pad?Ask the garage exactly what they plan to do during the service - it shouldn't be beyond the wit of man.Oil and Filter.Air filterPlugsBrake / steering / clutch fluidscheck disks and pads (rears mean new bearings tho)tyreslight, indicators, etc... coullstar 2
Just get them to change the oil and oil filter then stamp the book. You can then change the plugs ect yourself and take more care over them. This way you will save a little money, have your book stamped.
