ColinT 0
The rear (driver's side) window won't operate (it's half open). Won't respond to the console switch nor the switch on the rear door. All other windows open and close ok.Don't see a fuse listed for this. This surprises me! Any ideas? If I've to take the door panel off, how do I do this without breaking anything?Cheers
purple highline monster 0
i had a problem with mine a while back! it was the motor locking up on mine through lack of use i think? anyway i found opening and slamming the door a dozen times whilst operating the switch freed if off!!! a vw technician advised this as it was a common thing on mk3 golfs, if it resolves it its great as you dont have to take anything to bits! antera309 3
It's also worth checking the condition of the wires inside the rubber sleeves that go between the body and the doors. They quite often lose their isulation and break.Be sure to check the wires for ALL doors, not just the one with the malfunctioning window.
