Pittuf 0
Well since last weekend I have noticed my rear footwell have been wet.....sometimes alot more than abit. I have been pondering all week on where it could be coming from, thinking I may have a hole in the cills and the water running through or maybe the sunroof drain was blocked. :? I got in the car this evening and there was almost a lake in the rear footwells.......this can't be good I thought......I felt the raisedl lump in the middle....dry, i felt around the edges near the pillar trims....all dry, I then felt along the back vertical bit underneath the rear seat, that was also dry. &| I decided there wasn't alot I could do there and then so I drove home.....on the way I thought to my self.....hold on, I changed my rear light clusters back to my standard ones the day before last weekend, using the old gaskets......then the light bulb above my head lit up Got home and checked the boot, it was soaked all around the rear light clusters :@ Going to lindvale tomorrow to get some new gaskets, then I've got to dry the back end of my car out over the weekend.....feel abit stupid.....but hey....at least its a simple fix !lol

shail 0
The gaskets around the lights can always be a problem - use silicone bathroom sealent around it to stop water coming in.
