PassatVR6 0
Hi guys, my first ever post although I have used the site many times before. Ive just transplanted a 1997 obd2 vr6 from a mk3 golf into my 1989 b3 Passat.I've used the complete obd2 golf loom. Got the relevant light connectors changed over, used b4 vr6 clocks, sorted out the rest of the wiring and immobiliser. Now the issue I have. It starts but there must be something I'm missing. It's struggles to run and there is no throttle response. We managed to get it to run really well at one stage, idled perfectly, bought it up to temp, fans kicked in. Perfect but you'll see from the vids below what I have to sort. Any ideas?https://youtu.be/jME266qj1sghttps://youtu.be/-sBmFBpJMVAhttps://youtu.be/2jhVi7Bh3wIhttps://youtu.be/1nxFTPN1J-Ihttps://youtu.be/-R71KtN3en0 From this morning.https://youtu.be/4uQg74byng8Once it starts is runs really well. The golf I pulled the engine from started perfectly. Never drove the golf as it was off the road when I bought it but it didn't have any starting issues. Also got these wires left over. Multiplug connector with the red and black wire and the thin yellow with the black connector Edited April 24, 2017 by PassatVR6 Picture added
