The car currently is exhibited at Ford’s booth at the Chicago Auto Show and is a part of a charity giveaway. It’s a black tie event for a good cause. Last year, they raised more than $2.5 million, and the money was donated to 18 local charities. The car was donated by Angela and Mark Babala the owners of Angel’s Garage, which donates a care to a charity each year. This year, they chose JDRF Illinois, a non-profit organization that raises money for Type 1 diabetes research. To participate in the Raffle, you must purchase one or more raffle tickets during the Chicago Auto Show that takes place February 11-20, 2017. Tickets are being sold for $10 for one ticket, $50 for six tickets, or $100 for 12 tickets. The JDRF will receive 50% of all proceeds, while the winner will be selected on Monday, February 20th. For all interested, this is a Grabber Blue with silver stripes Ford Mach 1 that has been restored to stock appearance with only minor aftermarket bits under the skin. Power comes from the M Code 351 Cleveland Ram Air engine. While the stock produces 285 hp, this particular one has been outfitted with internal engine upgrades (COMPAM) and pumps out 460 plus hp. The car is equipped with a polished Edelbrock carburetor, KYB shocks, Flowmaster mufflers, a larger front sway bar and C6 Automatic transmission. It also has tinted glass, air conditioning, power steering and power front disc brakes as well as has been signed by Tommy Chong (Actor) and Audio Push (Hip Hop Duo).
