Stock from the factory, the engine of the most track focused Golf in the history of the company powers the front wheels with 310 hp, but thanks the specially developed control unit and matching software, ABT has managed to increase that figure to 365 hp. Alongside this boost, torque has also increased from 380Nm (280lb ft) to 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. Although the tuner has not published the acceleration figures, is expected to be faster then the standard version, which sprints from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.8 seconds. Top speed is also increased, from 265 km/h (165 mph), to 268 km/h (167 mph). In addition, the company offers power package for the Golf GTI Clubsport version, where the 2.0-liter TFSI engine has been upgraded to 335 HP and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. This means that the VW Golf GTI Clubsport is around 60 hp and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) of torque more powerful than the stock version. Complementing the power enhancements are upgrades to the chassis and suspension. For this program, Both cars can also be outfitted with a choice between suspension springs or a height adjustable suspension kit, anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles. Rounding up the upgrades is a new grille, new side skirts, headlight covers, side mirror caps, tailgate attachment and special developed wheels, from 18- to 20-inch in size.
