For most skiers the transport with the ski lift to the top of the ski track is the most boring part of the day. Subaru has found a way to speed up and make it interesting and fun. On the eve of the start of the new ski season, the Japanese manufacturer has introduced Gelande Taxi service, which will make the boring climbing to the top of the mountain a lot faster and exciting with its Subaru cars equipped with the famous permanent all-wheel drive system. Apart from the convenience of the public, this is also the best method for marketing, showcasing off-road abilities of the Outback. Taxi Gelande campaign began in 2014 and in the past, Subaru has brought models like the Forester, while last winter the company has brought WRX STI – as Gelande Taxi, driven by Japan rally legend, Toshi Arai. For now, that this type of promotional ski transport will be organized only in Japan, and will be held twice this season in the Tokai region.
