Such a tuning kit is the brutal HPE1000 package, which consist of ball-bearing turbochargers with billet aluminum compressor wheels, a high-flow air-to-water intercooler, upgraded fuel system, stainless steel headers and dual turbo wastegates, among others. Hennessey’s official figures for its Challenger SRT Hellcat outfitted with the HPE1000 kit are 1,060 hp and 987 lb-ft of torque. Now we can see the results when this menacing example hits the dyno. The car managed to churn out an 848 hp and 787 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels through the factory automatic transmission while running on 15 psi of boost.
