JC_VR6 3 Posted July 9, 2016 Report Share Posted July 9, 2016 Having an issue here hopping someone can help me, so here is the deal: i have a 1995 jetta vr6 OBD1. I was driving sitting on a hit when all of a sudden the car stated choking then shut off oil light started blinking right Way i was a about 1qt low on it i towed it home and now the light stays on for good when i try and turn the key the car just cranks and the light flashes, at times the car starts but after a few seconds it dies and there is some sort of knocking. As i have an extra vr for parts i have switched the crank sensor,fuel pump, new oil pressure switches, and relay i have done as much as i could but im against the wall now if you have any suggestions please let me know.
