Based on the already impressive Veloster Series II SR Turbo, the special edition brings $3,000 worth of exclusive additional specification and unique enhancements. The Street Turbo special edition comes with an exclusive Dazzling Blue Mica exterior paint colour with Phantom Black exterior. Other unique Special Edition features include RAYS Gram Lights alloy wheels in a semi-gloss black finish, Phantom Black body side skirt, front spoiler and rear diffuser inserts, grille surround, side mirror covers and rear roof spoiler, and high intensity discharge (HID) Xenon headlights. Inside, the Turbo Sports Blue interior package includes leather-appointed seats, steering wheel and door trims, with blue contrast stitching throughout. There’s also bespoke blue-stitched floor mats with Street logos, blue front seatbelts, blue front door grip handles and center console side garnishes. Like the Veloster Series II Turbo +, the Street Turbo Special Edition comes with The 7-inch LCD touchscreen Satellite Navigation with CD player, MP3 functionality and Sat Nav Update Plan, sports instrumentation, climate-control air-conditioning with auto defog function and Panoramic glass sunroof. Power is provided by the same 1.6-liter Turbo GDi four-cylinder Gamma engine that delivers 201hp/150kW at 6,000rpm and 265Nm (196 pound-feet) at 1,750 – 4,500rpm. It can be mated with either a six-speed manual or 7-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission taking drive to the front wheels. Its suspension has been tuned to Australian conditions, like the most Hyundai models. The Street Turbo Special Edition will be limited to only 200 units, and one can be yours for $34,990 with a manual or $37,490 with the optional twin-clutch automatic gearbox.
