At the unveiling of the Model 3 Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the car will cost from $35,000 and will deliver at least 215 miles of range. According to Musk Model 3 will be one of the safest cars in the world equipped with the latest modern techology. He says also that 130,000 pre-orders had already been made in the past 24 hours at $1,000 deposit (refundable), and that number will continue to rise, which is madness.
Compared to the Model S and Model X, the Tesla Model 3 wears a different look up front with the grille-less and striking new headlights. Like the Model S, the Model 3 will be available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, and also like Model S it will have front and rear trunks for storage.

Inside the cabin the Model 3 will be more spacious and comfortable with a large infotainment screen to control the vehicle functions. The Model 3 will seat five real adults in comfort, as Tesla engineers move the front seats forward and squashed the instrument panel to give rear seat passengers more space.
The slowest versions of the Model 3 will do 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds, but there’ll be much faster versions available. Every car will have an EPA-certified range of at least 215 miles and all cars will come with Tesla’s high-speed Supercharging network.
The Model 3, the pinnacle of the Tesla Motors master plan will go on sale late next year with a starting price of $35,000.
