Would considered the odd bit of work here and there as these cars I am aware are getting on a bit now but would need to be considered in the asking price. I had a 4 my mate had a 5 and they are worlds apart. Definitely test drive them both if you haven't already and you'll see what I mean Link to post Share on other sites

Mine was just remapped panel filter and miltec cat back at 275 bhp and was so much quicker than my friends who had exactly the same mk5 but his had tiptronic. I'm putting the whole mk4 engine in mate. Just stripped it all ready to take my 2.9 out and swap the flywheel clutch and box onto the 24v engine and drop it in the car then sort the wiring Link to post Share on other sites

My mate dropped an r32 into one a couple of years ago that thing was quick. The 2.8 won't be far behind Link to post Share on other sites
