16 x 9 Schmidt modern line wheels, lowering and camber!

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have just bought a vr6 and have been looking at modern lines, I am definitely going to buy some but unsure whether to buy 9 inch all round or to get 7.5 for the front and 9 inch rear,

Also I'm after photos and info if anyone has ever done it and what's specs

I would like 16 x 9 all round

Will I need to roll arches and take out the inner Arch?

Also pictures for stretch on 9 inch wheels I'm wondering whether to go 205/40/16 or 215/40/16

Basically I don't care about going fast I just want to slam it have some camber and have it wide

Any help grateful!!

forgot to add that the front and rear arches are completely rolled flat and front camber is at full negative. I never measured in degrees, I just loosened the strut at the steering knuckle and pushed all the way in and tightened it all back down. set the toe based on my eyeballs and my fenders and got pretty decent tire wear and fairly good tracking given the negative camber.
