front suspension

can anyone help? i need a picture of a vr6 1994 front struts and springs etc. mainly the top mount assembly i.e spring cup, bearing and bush. for some reason i cant seem to get it right, ive tryed fitting the bearing in both ways but the top of the strut spring cup & bearing are solid and not moving on the bearing, ive bought new spring cups, top mount bushes and bearings but it still doesnt help. i think i must be putting something togethr wrong. help please.

I've got a paper copy, but no scanner, so I can't send it directly to you.

I got mine from my local VW supplier when I was figuring out which parts to replace when I did my suspension.

For a 1997 they go together in the following order.

Shock

Bump Stop

Protection boot

Spring

Sping disk - Part no. 357 421 341 A

Axial grooved ball bearing - Part No. IJ0 412 249

Threaded bush - Part No. 1H0 412 365 A

Suspension strut storage (The big lump of rubber - top mount) - Part No. 357 412 331 A

All that goes under your arch then fit the dished cup and nut to the top.
