jt 0
put my car in for it's mot and passed no problem !lol but the did say that there was a small amount of play in the rear bearings (more than there should be) can these be tightened to reduce the play or are they like the corrado where you have to replace the hole lot rear disks etc, its a 97 vr hghline. SankysVR6 1
You can try nipping up the hub nut, other wise you'll have to take the discs apart to fit new bearings. You don't have to change the old discs just depends on how much wear they have.
BigSi 0
I had the same thing when mine was MOT'd last September. I nipped the bearing and it was ok for a while but the play soon comes back again. I replaced both rear bearings about a month ago.Like Sanky says you have to remove the disk in order to be able to replace the bearings and the shells but if your disks are ok you don't need to replace them. dubloke 4
i nipped mine up before inters and as most who know me on the forums, it exploded on the way down there about 20 mins from the campsite, setting both the pads and abs sensor on fire in the process! i would change it if i were you for the sake of 20 tokens!
