jezmoz 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 how do you remove door cards, i have a 1993 mk3 five door vr, one of my panels has a dent and i'm gonna try and pop it out by drilling inside the door but i can't seem to work out how to get the things off without using force. dub_weiser 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 Really straight forward even I canmanage this one. Start by takinf off the part which has the window switches. Get a flat head screw driver and it will pop staight out. Once that off you should be exposed to three screws, undue these and then if I recall just a question of taking an edge of the door card and giveing it a pull and should pop out of its clip. Also remember to take off the door pin. You will need to manovre the the door card around door handle when you take it off.
