TVR6 0
I've read many comments on this site about those that have replaced or repaired many several things on their VRs. What about a collective service, for those that have time and of course with an 'at own risk' understanding, where those in the know could offer their services/know how at reduced/agreed cost. They make some money for their efforts and others save significantly over the cost of a garage. I know it's not without it's faults but it can't be a new idea either. This could cover anything from a basic service to suspension fitting, clutch replacement etc. Some of us (sadly not me) have the tools, workspace and know how which could be of great benefit to others whilst saving the rest of us some hard earned cash. Just a thought
TVR6 0
lol Okay... so it was a bad idea, hence the lack of response... !sad
uber-tub 0
Good idea I think. But what about other skills? What do you all do for jobs? I'm an architect so could get you all planning permission for that 11-storey garage complex you've always dreamed of... in fact I'll start a thread.
