mattvr6 133
Anyone know if mk4 seats fit a mk3?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GershVR6 23
Hi Matt Yes it does fit, think you just need to make up a kind of bracket at the bottom of the seat. Saw a Vento fitted with MK4 Recaro's andI met a guy 2 weekends back who had fitted MK5 GTI front seats in his Vento VR6 and its a perfect fit. Looks neat.So i'm sure with a lil bit of changes you could manage to make it work. Hope my bit of info helped.
daveyboy 897
Apparently the fronts go straight in but the backs need a little cutting and welding on the bracket for the back rest Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk
Lukey. 381
I have a mate with an early mk4 GTI and the recaros in it are the exact same style and the mountings look the same too
mattvr6 133
I've bought a 20v turbo mk4 with the recaros was thinking if replacing the vr6 with it but now I'm thinking I'll break it and keep the seats but only if they fit lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bealieboy 1,625
Would you be able to remove the rear seat covers from mk4 seats and swap onto vr6 seat bases? Are they the same shape? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Surreyvr6 199
It can be done, not 100% sure what's involved thoughSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
D11PS 146
I've got mk4 leather recaros in mine.. Fabrication is needed on the front seats for the runners and there's a little bit of modification needed for the rear tooSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
