Dekerf1996 27
I have a fairly new to me v-engineering supercharged VR (odb2) and it doesn't run right when cold. It's running a generic stealth map. It struggles to hold idle and if you lift off the gas coming to a junction it will cut out, as it warms up the car will catch itself but the revs will drop to 400-500 then it idles at 600. When warm it was idling at 700. Now I got the fault codes read today and there are 3 of them and are as follows: Solenoid valve 6 n93 00268 32767 - 035 kwp1281 def not found Activated charcoal filter system n80 01247 - 031 Now the last one I am fairly sure is because I have had the charcoal canister removed, and once cleared reappeared straight away. Now the other two I am struggling with, first one is listed in the fault code list but can't find where it's listed to, and the second.... No idea Can anyone shed any light? Lukey. 381
Is it an auto?
UnitedMotorsport 55
Stock injectors? You only listed 2 faults but mentioned 3 N80 is a charcoal canister fault.N93 isnt an engine component, so shouldnt have appeared in the engine module, N93 is a valve in the valve body of an auto gearbox. Dekerf1996 27
Listed three, first one is the auto one, it's a manual and always has been. Second one is 32767 def not found 3 is charcoal canister, take it that one is cos it's been removed for the supercharger conversion? UnitedMotorsport 55
Some well used punctuation wouldn't have gone a miss there! It makes no sense that the engine ECU is throwing TCU error codes. Do you have stock injectors fitted?
Dekerf1996 27
Sorry i was on the phone and it looked all ok when i posted it, not using tapatalk sh!t again!!! Cars only running a stage 1 supercharger set up, so i would imagine stock injectors (haven't checked though) Just to clarify the codes are: 1) Solenoid valve 6 n93 00268 Now the code 00268 refers to auto boxes, but the car isn't an auto (never has been). I have been reading about this and it could be blue temp sensor or MAF, but not sure, has anyone got any definative ideas? 2) 32767 - 035 kwp1281 def not found Haven't a clue on this one 3) Activated charcoal filter system n80 01247 - 031 Assuming this is due to the fact i have had the charcoal canister removed from the supercharger conversion and is nothing to worry about Now the code 00268 refers to auto boxes, but the car isn't an auto (never has been). I have been reading about this and it could be blue temp sensor or MAF, but not sure, has anyone got any definative ideas?
UnitedMotorsport 55
What are you using to read the codes?
Dekerf1996 27
It was a universal OBD2 fault code reader, that i borrowed. Do different readers have an effect on the codes, or reading of them?
UnitedMotorsport 55
Yeah, VAG COM will probably give a different result.
