Jakeyb 23
the two things could be related to a wiring fault , have you plugged into diagnostics to see if it throws a code up? tried the basics of taking the negative off the battery for 10 mins and trying again .. checked all wiring n plugs? did you give it grief and then park it up or was it allowed to cool down properly and stuff? Edward Clark 3
Never trust a oil light. Put a gauge on it. It could be one of two things going on. Most likely it is the oil pressure switch located on top of the oil filter housing. They do go bad once in a while and when the light comes on it cuts out your fuel pump to protect the motor from people that ignore dash lights. Option two, oil pump. It could be worn out and not producing enough pressure at idle. Option three. Clogged oil pump pick up tube or screen .Its not that hard to pull the oil pan and check. How many miles do you have on the motor ,and how many since the turbo install? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Jakeyb, michael5556 and Poriordan
Poriordan 97
Ok guys thanks for the help it was an immobiliser fault I had a bad battery witch caused the fault to stay on the new battery but soon as I disconnected the negative for 10 mins or so then reconnected she fired straight up thanks all the same ;-) Marneus
