RsvRob 6 Posted December 8, 2013 Report Share Posted December 8, 2013 Have tried fitting a stereo in the car today but came across a strange problem. The std harness was connected to a radio harness to plug directly to stereo. But the ignition and power were wired directly to power. I know vw switched the power and ignition from a std setup. But unless the stereo is wired with both going to power only. Then I have nothing. I have tried a volt meter to see what happens on the std harness.
