AntWhiting 0 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Share Posted April 27, 2005 hi guys, im currently in the process of buying the necessary parts to do a VR6 brake conversion on my brothers MK2 GTI 8v and was wondering exactly what parts were needed for this?Im under the impression i need, hubs, carriers, discs, pads and calipers but not too sure what else.Would I need a VR6 driveshaft aswell??help is very much appreciated on this one!!! acf8181 0 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Share Posted April 27, 2005 well, if they're the early vr6 280mm calipers (the later 288mm will require a 5 stud conversion), i believe you need....calipers,carriers,mkII hub (the type used for late 16v 256mm brakes),pads,flexi hoses,mkII 4 stud G60 discs.ask on cgti.com to confirm Link to post Share on other sites
