Gefstar 1 Posted June 21, 2013 Report Share Posted June 21, 2013 Trying to remove an aftermarket alarm from the VR and just to make sure I am not removing it and its gonna cause problems, I am chasing the wires back from the splice to see whats connected to the alarm before removing..I have come to the Central Locking Pump in the boot after following the wires along the sill (Drivers side) under the back seats and then into the boot (under the carpet) and then to the central locking module and Bi Pump... My question is this....Why are there 11 wires connected to the module?8 wires run along the route I have just described and then 2 more wires are spliced into the wiring just before the pump and then connect to the connector1 Earth runs from the connector making the 11Having checked the Bentley Manual all I can see are 5 connections.....
