Retaining Passat 288mm front brakes in a MK2

I thought i would write this thread because i had a hard time finding all the info needed in one spot to accomplish this swap.

There is no speculations in this post (By me anyways).

I used and works AWESOME with NO issues

-MK2 inner cv shafts with vr6 outers

-Passat knuckles, spindles and calipers

-MK2 control arms with Passat ball joints fitted (took minor material off the 2 outer holes from control arm) still plenty of meterial for the ball joint to bite in to.

-Stock rotors and pads for 1997 Passat vr6.

-MK2 shocks with H&R MK3 Jetta vr6 sport springs (Used upgraded strut mounts with MK3 vr6

upper spring seat).

Alinged flawlessly for camber and toe, and she sits really nice and handles like a dream + breaking is off the charts.

She drives really nice.
