Pieman 0
I've had a search and see this problem has happen to lots of people and did what most have done, I've had the immobilizer removed from my ECU on my 95 Golf VR, but it still only starts for a few seconds and dies. Would it now be the ignition switch???
VR6Pete 1,455
Have you had it on VAG-COM to see if any fault codes are registered?

UnitedMotorsport 55
If there are no fault codes, then It cant be the immo causing it to stop.
Pieman 0
If there are no fault codes' date=' then It cant be the immo causing it to stop.[/quote']The spark goes when its dies and when you turn the ignition off and then on again it seem to reset something and it starts all over again.Wouldn't the spark going point to the immo or ignition switch?? UnitedMotorsport 55
The fault code of "engine start blocked by immobiliser" will be present if it is the immo causing it. If this fault code is no present then it is not the immo.

Pieman 0
I'm going to change the ECU and fuel pump relays to rule that out then I'm going to do some VCDC logs again and see if I have missed something.
