Lukey. 381 Posted October 7, 2012 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 10w40 semi syn oil like quantum synta silver or castrol gtx.For plugs there are a couple of options, NGK BKR5EUP are the OEM spec platinum electrode & multi ground tip and have a supposed life of 40k but are expensive at £40 a set. Or you could fit NGK BKR5E which are the same heat range but copper electrode and single ground tip, these have 50% of the service life at 20k but a set costs £14. My recommendation would be to use the cheaper set and replace them twice as often, as 40k is really a long time and the VR6 engine fouls spark plugs up like it enjoys it.
