adimiller 0
I have a 97 vr6 beauty, the previous owner cut the springs himself , the ride is terrible, so I'm looking to rectify this, in south africa we have a very limited amount of vr6 parts and upgrades, so i was wondering if a MK 3 gti coil over pack or even just the springs would work? CALICO 130
If they are coilovers i doubt the springs will fit correctly gti and vr6 share similar suspension so i reckon stick the lot on. got to be better than choipped springs.
adimiller 0
the mechanic says they have to vehicle specific, which is a bummer cause the parts are so limited in south africa, can anyone recommend a brand of coil over that can be used on the street with a dampener and tell me how to set it up? CALICO 130
Buy the best you can afford if you cannot afford damping adjustable then they are simple enough to buy a set of coilovers and set them to the height you want your vehicle sat at.

adimiller 0
@dragongreenvr6kent , apparently there is a slight difference, not entirely sure how its is, but there is! so I'm looking at a set of V-Maxx extreme with the 30 levels of dampening, how do i set up the dampening once I've installed them?
