ollie_ 0 Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 Afternoon gents.In my constant pursuit of eventually having the perfect gearbox in the golf, I've realised that I'm going to want a monster shifter.I was going to raise the standard shift tower up, and have a nice tall stick on it, but I've realised it's going to do nothing for the throw, which is horrendous. I don't think even the quick shift kits sort this out much do they?So anyway, I'd like one of those cae/all smiles tower shifter style ones, but don't want to pay the €899 euros CAE are asking.Does anyone know of any alternatives?
