Buying a used Jetta III GLX VR6

I'm looking to buy a used '95 Jetta III GLX VR6 with 121K miles.

Is there anything mechanical I should be specifially looks for on this car. Gave it a quick test drive and nothing stood out...not chain chatter or odd engine noises. Supension seemed solid and brakes were firm and steady.

I've heard that the engine mounts may need to be changed around 120K.

One more thing....its a 5spd stick and has a Nuespeed labeled stabilizer bar up front.

main thing is the timing chains...they usually need replacing at about that mileage as the top runner wears through (which would cause the chain to jump and damage valves). other than, if its been looked after it'll go a lot longer that 120k no probs.
