paceo 22 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 i have a golf vr6 early obd1 280mm setup but switching to a 312mm conversion.im finding it hard to find the correct brake pads with the wear sensor. i think you can use 288mm pads but they dont list them with the sensor???ive got the 312mm pads but the sensor wire is on the opposite end of the pad. i can fit them but the brake light is going to stay on all the time as the wires are cut!! I have never seen a VR6 with the wear sensors so dont knowno idea havent had a look to see where it goes.just an idea i think is to cut the connector off my 280mm pads and re-wire them neatly onto my 312mm pads. job done hopefully.
