Another What's it worth question.........

Had my second vr a while now but the time has come to sell due to family reasons

1996 2.8 vr6 obd 2

5 door in lc9z magic black

85k with fsh

No tax

3 months m.o.t, it will pass with flying colours as it drives faultless

Sigma m30 full closure alarm with certificate

Interior is near immaculate

All electrics work as they should

Engine n box nice n tight

Vibratenics front mount

Other mounts renewed with oem items

10mm blue formular power leads

Good body work

Hella quads with near new 4300k hid kit

Heat wrapped supersprint 6 branch

Fully custom decatted 2.5" cat back twin round system

CDA filter with cold air feed

Ecu has has had the factory immobiliser removed

Ecu has been chipped to suit mods by vince at stealth

Standard bbs Wheels have just been blasted n powder coated in gunmetal grey with new bbs center caps and fitted with new ykohoma parada spec 2's

Lowered all round on coilovers, not too low, just nice.

Generally a really nice drive, gutted I have to get shut but needs must. I obviously don't want to give it away but would like it go be bought to be used not broke.

The problem is, WE value the cars more than Joe public. People see an old 2.8ltr golf. So in their eyes it's thirsty and probably unreliable. It’s only when someone knows about them do we stand a chance!!!! There have been cars with specs similar to your selling for as little as a grand, but then there are again similar cars selling for 2 and a half time that.

My car for example has similar spec, a little more in that I have cams and head work done. And it had a longer mot and tax, and I paid £1100.

Ask Jim Potter what he just paid for his old car. The specs are huge in comparison, you might be surprised!!!!
