flawless_finishes 0
Here we have here a very clean MK3 VR that has been cared for so well. Recently had some paintwork at Southam Bodies by Greg Howell who I am sure most of you know of or have heard of in VW community!First off we rinsed the car down and the gave a good covering of VP orange pre-wash to get rid of any dirt and the light covering of dust on the car...Next up was foam, a mix of AB Magifoam and VP PH balanced was usedAs things were getting a bit toastie there are no picture of the wash stage but this was taken car of by AutoFinesse Lather, 2 bucket method and usual safe practice Next up are a some defect shots all under a 3M SunGun with a IPA wipe down before any pictures of defect removal, the car mainly had light swirls and some wash marring but the owner has been given a strict regime to follow now..50/50All doneVarious other shots of defects and corrected panelsOne and only sun shot post correctionThrough the paint correction stages I used a LC green polishing pad with Menz IP and refined with Megs #205 on a Sonus Red.Finally some finished shots after the car had been treated to a coat of SV BOS after a pre cleanse with AutoFinesse Rejuvenate, wheels had previously been given 2 coats of CG Jetseal 109 after a refurb so left me to dress trim and tyres with Megs ASD which produced these My favouriteThanks for lookingRegards John

As for instructions on scratch removal I don't have any other than 6-7 years experience with a machine polisher.RegardsJohn
