russj249 2
Any play in any bushes or anything with the car jacked up? Could be a bottom suspension arm knocking, bit might be able to feel that through the steering? Or a cv joint on its way out.. lots really, do you get any clicking on full lock at all? russj249 2
Hmm a bit strange that.. I'd definitely get it jacked up and check all the play in the steering and suspension.. how are the other engine mounts?

rsweeney 40
how do you check bottom suspension arm?
russj249 2
If it was completely knackered, when you jack car up, grab the wheel and shake it side to side, like your trying to turn the wheels (also try top to bottom) and see if there is any free play.If a bottom arm bush has collapsed sometimes you can see visually that the rubber has seperated, or if no play or nothing in visual test, get a pry bar in and try every single ball joint and bush and see if anything moves more than it should. There are a lot of things though that could cause your problem, so just have to narrow it down one at a time until you find the problem
