VeeRsix 0 Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 Since the method of tensioning is via hydraulic pressure the length of adjustment as shown in your picture should be ignored, use the tensioner which show the least piston scoring (hence less chance of failure).After re-fitting start up at idle only and ensure chain gear is without noise ,a short chain noise may be heard untill oil pressure is exerted to the rear of the tensioner.Stephen Link to post Share on other sites
