Goguvarra 0
Car started having a poor idle today. Opened the hood heard a hissing sound from the crankcase breather valve area and indeed the vacuum hose on top of the crankcase valve was ruptured. I cut a piece of it and put it back on idle seems better now.Question is where can I find this hose ? It's probably break again sometime because it's at an angle and stays there pretty tensioned. Can I get some aftermarket hoses like Samco for it ?Also what is it's function exactly ? as far as I was able to see it tonight it goes below the air intake and then rests on the firewall (is his normal, not having any kind of system to keep it in place) and goes inside a plastic part thingie. I'll put photos up.I also found that I'm leaking some coolant from a couple of lines near the intake manifold. I'll put pictures of these too. Can these be replaced as separate parts or is the problem from somewhere else ?I attached photos of the broken vacuum hose (now fixed) the plastic thing that the hose continues into and the broken coolant lines.http://postimage.org/gallery/95yv49i14/Thanks.
