hi guys, when my cars engine was at full temperature it used to idle really badly between 300-700RPM, sometimes cutting out.

so i bought a brand new idle control valve, when engine is at full temperature it idles beutiful! but now from cold the car idles really bad between 300-700RPM for the first minute or so, sometimes cutting out.

so its done the total opposite when i have put a new idle control valve on! weird isnt it but any ideas what the problem is??? cars had new sparks, leads, dizzy, rotor arm and fuel filter.

hi m8, when my car had ideling problems it turned out to be the maf connection plug, the way the cable was routed, water would run down it into the plug, it would idle up and down constantly , so check that and i would clean ya Maf sensor aswell as these can get caked in oil, other then that get ya car hooked up to VAGcom might help.
