david.hanagan 0
Hi allI have been searching this subject on the tinterweb for a couple of days now but cant really find any definitive answer to my query, so i thought i would post on here to see if i can get anyones opinion that has had some first hand experience.Basically i am querying the difference between camber shims and washers. I know shims you 'dial' in the correct camber and can adjust and use more then one, but isnt it easier to use washers? Cant you just input say two washers and then use the same amount the other side to get the correct camber both sides? Also can anyone advise the difference in safety between the two? I was going to attempt to use washers at the weekend to fit my 9j wide wheels on what would like some first hand opinions first.ThanksDavid
Ian_rogers 0
I dont personally think washers would do any harm but not sure if it will fail an MOT for it, that's what I'd be worried about.U can get shims for £20, it's not a big pricetag
