StevoVR6 0
Hi Guys,I've notice a whining noise when I start to put my foot down, also the car struggles to get it into 5th gear just wondering if there was any known issues or even if this is the gearbox and not the clutch or summit like that? Thanks

Vw_owner 1
one way we diagnosed a gearbox fault on my m8s caddy was to jack the front up on stands and drive it through the gears like you would normaly and at the same time have a scout in the bay listening for noises etc, sure enough his box was fooked,as it was grinding when decelerating, so we changed his 4spd box for a 5speed box hes chuffed to bits now
