drew 0 Posted May 25, 2011 Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 bit of advice please guys... when i bought my vr, it had coilovers fitted and was extremley low. i am a family man and the ride was way to hard.. i have lifted it all round but it is still rock hard.. you can jump on any corner of it and there is no movment... are my shocks buggered? jims13 6 Posted May 26, 2011 Report Share Posted May 26, 2011 unless they are jom , which are rock hard at whatever height .take a look at the makeup of the units , any stickers ?some cheaper ebay coilovers , as mentioned above , get progressivly harder the lower they go . Realstoo 0 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Share Posted May 30, 2011 My 96 vr6 is the same, not sure what make it has on (will check) but is way too low for me and way way too hard. Wanting to go to as OEM as possible so if anyone wants to lower their VR6 (manual)- a free all round set of perfectly good springs and dampers-in exchange for original ones would be great as long as they are in good nick too of course.
