VR6Pete 1,455 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 Could be your sensor in the thermo housing....Does your Heater motor work? I assume your just getting cold air and no hot air? Do the pipes that go into the matrix at the back of the engine bay get hot? Link to post Share on other sites

VR6Pete 1,455 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 Sounds like the heater motor isn't working... Check fuse and relay... It could be possible that the motor is dead but cheaper / easier to check fuses etc...Im pretty sure it's the yellow sensor that controls the temp dial on the clocks...Bridge terminal A and C with ignition on... If the needle moves, then you know its the yellow sensor at fault..Do you know if your aux water pump is working as that also is operated from the same switch, you can test that by bridgeing B and D.The thermostat housing is located on the front right side of the engine, easy to spot as there's 3 sensors usually on it Link to post Share on other sites
