Udi Siag 0 Posted May 2, 2011 Report Share Posted May 2, 2011 hi there mates , today is a fresh problem well , my VR start to change gears stupidly.. for example i start to drive , then before i reach 50KM the 4th gear comes , i mean it doesn't shift like it use to , like it should change.. shifting so fast 1,2,3,4, and the car will die , so i’ll have to push more gas so it will respond .and some other times , it's start driving in second gear i have no idea WHY!!!------->(the stick in D) , till 40 RPM reach, then it till change to third (i checked the oil , and it's just fine)and tips , i'll be very happy . vr6matt 0 Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 I might have this on mine too - have some funny shifts on kickdown and when pressing on a bit. Ran a fault code reader last night and it returned a few faults including battery terminal issues, a shift solenoid, and transmission volatge sensor? Will let you know how it goes.
