pfennell 0 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Share Posted April 24, 2011 at last got my rotrex build up and running, after so much pain and scratchin heads and so chuffed with the results need now to get it mapped cos not running perfect..ill get some pics up soon..i was chattin to bungy b4 about standalone management i think this will be the better route as i will be changing the injectors, chargecoolin, meth injection and uppin the psi so cheaper in the long run....whats the best brain to use on it obd1 aaa 2.8 decomp and rotrex c30-84... cheers for all the help lads Link to post Share on other sites

rodney 17 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 The standalone is more about who can do what for you... by that I mean there are a few options, but who can map/programme them for you??? As you are split between Germany and England that might open a few options for you...I recall Sparkz popping over to one of the better tuners in Germany for an R32T so that may be something to look for/search on here for.. (I will try and find it aswell....)Emerald is popular as there are lots of people (even non VAG) who use and can programme etc for you locally.. which may be an important factor..Also might be worth chatting to Vince at Stealth and of course the team at The Phirm...Hope it helps Link to post Share on other sites

pfennell 0 Posted April 27, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 27, 2011 went to SLS tuning today,,,what a place just need to book it in when i have a spare day..500 for map and rr sesh.he almost tempted me with a set of tarox 6 pots but to big gutted only 400 bucks...i was being cheeky asking if he had any jobs going and he said yes he needs another mechanic woop woop..ill speak to him when i go back down with the car..managed to get a bunch of stickers of them bonus...
