bentheboffin 1 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 before i start i must appologise for poor blackberry immagesplz can some one help me id these couple of pipesist pipe, connects to the head next to the inlet manifold, it the pipe just above the 7mm hex bolt head this is the end of itthe other bit of pipe work i need to know about is this one, its sits behind the the inlet manifold by the bulk headany help with iding them and yetting me know where they go would be much appreciated Link to post Share on other sites
UnitedMotorsport 55 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 The 1st pipe links the cylinder head to the pipe between the MAF and the Throttle body. This is there to feed metered air to the injector shrouds. This not being connected will make the car idle incorrectly.The 2nd pipe also connects to the big black tube linking the MAF to the throttle body. This takes oil vapour from the crank case and passes it into the inlet tract for it to then be burnt by the engine. Again this not being connected will make the engine idle incorrectly.
